Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what we never do with it.

Last updated

Effective date: September 27, 2026. This policy covers ridenrepair.ai, our demo pages and the Ride N Repair OS platform. In short: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use call recordings or transcripts to train AI models.

Who we are

Ride N Repair OS is provided by Ride N Repair, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). Questions and privacy requests go to ceo@ridenrepair.ai. Sales questions go to sales@ridenrepair.ai.

Data we process for customers

When a repair business uses Ride N Repair OS, we process information about its customers on its behalf: callers' names and phone numbers, vehicle details, service addresses, job and payment records, technician GPS locations during jobs, and call recordings and transcripts from the AI receptionist and lead desk.

For this data we act as a service provider and processor. The repair business decides why and how it's used, and we process it only to provide the service under our contract and data processing agreement. If you called a business that uses our platform and want to exercise your rights, contact that business. We'll help them respond.

How we use personal information

  • To provide, secure and support the platform, and to set up and run your account.
  • To respond to enquiries, run demos, and send service and billing messages.
  • To send business email about our product to business contacts, with a working opt-out in every message.
  • To understand how the site and product are used and to fix problems, using our own logs.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to enforce our terms.

We may use de-identified, aggregated metrics (for example, average answer rates across all customers) to improve the service and to publish industry statistics. These can't identify you, your business or your callers.

No selling, no AI training

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California and other state privacy laws. We do not use call recordings or transcripts to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. Our speech, language and voice vendors process customer data only to deliver the service, under terms that prohibit training on it and limit how long they keep it.

Text messages (SMS) and mobile information

Repair businesses that use Ride N Repair OS can send their customers text messages about their own jobs: appointment confirmations, technician on-the-way and arrival updates, payment links and service reminders. The terms for those messages, including how to opt out (reply STOP) and get help (reply HELP), are in our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers are used only to deliver the messages the recipient agreed to receive, and are passed only to the phone carrier and messaging providers that transmit those messages.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no session replay and no embedded third-party content. Fonts, images and maps are hosted on our own servers. We record page views and product events in our own database to understand how the site is used. We use only the cookies and local storage that the site needs to work, such as keeping you signed in or remembering a demo you started. Because of that, we don't show a cookie banner.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We don't track visitors across other websites, and we don't sell or share personal information, so there's nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing, and we'd apply that if our practices ever changed.

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to run the service. Each is bound by a contract that limits its use of data to providing services to us.

How long we keep data

DataRetention
Call recordings90 days by default. Each customer can set 30 to 365 days.
Call transcripts and summaries12 months
Customer data after terminationAvailable for export, then deleted within 30 days
Leads and sales contactsUntil you ask us to delete them or they're no longer useful. Opt-outs are kept on a suppression list so we don't contact you again.
Billing and tax recordsAs long as the law requires, usually 7 years
Website event logsUp to 24 months

AI calls and call recording

Every call answered by our AI receptionist starts with a disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. The AI answers "yes" if asked whether it's an AI, and callers can ask for a person. Customers can't turn the disclosure off. This matters because several states, including California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington, require every party's consent to record a call. We don't use voice biometrics or create voiceprints of callers.

Where data is processed

Customer call audio and transcripts are hosted in the United States. Ride N Repair, Inc. is affiliated with Ride N Repair's operating company in India, whose engineers help build and support the platform. When they need access to customer data to support you, that access is limited to what the task requires, logged, and covered by an intercompany data processing agreement.

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit and log staff access, separate each customer's data, and keep backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information we'll notify you as the law requires. Details are on our Security page.

Your rights and how to use them

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that's wrong;
  • delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law;
  • stop sending you marketing email (use the unsubscribe link, or email us).

Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have further rights. We'll honor them where they apply, and we won't treat you differently for using them. Email ceo@ridenrepair.ai with your request. We'll confirm your identity and respond within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent. If we process the data for one of our customers, we'll pass your request to that business.

Children

Our site and service are for businesses. They aren't directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and tell customers by email before it takes effect.
