What it does

Built for the way work actually moves.

Every van is its own stockroom

Set a par level and a reorder point for each part on each van. The count comes down the moment a job is marked complete, so the number on screen is what is actually behind the van doors.

  • Par and reorder point per van, per part
  • Deducted from finished jobs, not from memory
  • Transfers between vans in two taps

Restock lists that write themselves

After the last job of the day, each van gets a restock list: what fell below its reorder point, what tomorrow’s booked jobs need, and what it costs. Approve it and the yard has it packed before the first job.

A selling price for every tech and every part

The price engine starts from what your customers already accept for that part, from that tech or that area, then holds it between a floor above your cost and a cap at your list price. No more guessing at the curb.

QR proof that the part is genuine

Every part you stock carries a QR label. The tech scans it at install; the customer can scan it later and see the part, the batch, the vehicle and the install date on a public page. A code scanned twice is flagged.

Parts cost lands in your P&L

Every part installed is costed against the job it went on, so margin by job, tech and location is real, not estimated. It feeds straight into Analytics & P&L.

Setup to steady state

How it works

  1. Load your catalog

Send us your parts list with costs and list prices, or your supplier export. We set par levels per van with you on the kickoff call.

  2. Label and stock the vans

Print QR labels for the parts you carry. Techs scan each part onto their van once.

  3. Work the day

Techs scan parts at install. Stock comes down on job completion, and prices come from the engine.

  4. Restock overnight

Approve each van’s restock list in the evening. The yard packs it; vans start the day at par.

FAQ

Parts & Inventory, answered.

Do my techs have to count stock?
No. Stock comes off the van when a job is completed, using the parts scanned on that job. A quick spot-count once a week keeps the numbers honest, and any difference is logged against the van.
How does the per-tech pricing work?
For each part, the engine looks at what customers have accepted for it from that tech. If there is not enough history it uses nearby techs, then your whole company, then your list price. It never goes below a floor of cost plus 5% or cost plus $15, whichever is higher, and never above your list price. You can pin any price by hand.
What does the customer see when they scan a part?
A public page on ridenrepair.ai showing the part name, part number, batch, the vehicle it was installed on (with a masked VIN), the install date, the tech and the warranty. No customer name, phone or address is ever shown.
Can I order from my supplier through it?
The restock list is sent to whoever stocks your vans, by email or in the app. Direct ordering from supplier catalogs is not part of the product today; we will tell you before we claim it.
Does it work if I stock parts at a yard and on vans?
Yes. The yard is a stock location like any van, and restocks move parts from the yard to a van with a record of who moved what.
Is Parts & Inventory in a bundle?
It is included in Fleet OS and Command Center. On Mobile Ops you can add it per location.
